Merry Christmas from Tea Time for Your Soul

I’m not sure when you will get around to reading today’s Tea Time for Your Soul, but I hope when you open it you find our heartfelt wishes that your Christmas season was full of hope, love, joy and peace. We love this special ministry that God has called us to share with you. We are grateful that you are a part of our Tea Time Family.

My husband Brian is my webmaster—he loves that title. He keeps up with subscribes and unsubscribes and gives ideas and critiques of articles. Elizabeth Knight and Amy Dobek help my by proofing the weekly devotionals. They have their hands full as grammar is not my favorite subject. Sheila Wyatt is my webpage designer and she updates the website with the weekly devotionals for those who do not subscribe.

You, the reader are very important too. You write me on days that I wonder if anyone is really listening. I have to say I am usually surprised by the devotionals that particularly touch people. You share the website with your friends and family and this is a blessing to me too.

This last week of Advent and then Christmas day I’ll be lighting the last purple candle and the Christ candle on our family advent wreath. My children will be making me cry, because they are laughing so hard at my off tune singing and I will be smiling inside as I receive the peace that passes understanding this Christmas. The first word Jesus spoke to the disciples when he appeared to them after the resurrection was, Peace. Peace on earth was also the message of the angels to the shepherds. There is peace on earth. If you are not feeling peace at this moment while you are reading, keep looking for it. Look into the Word of God, turn your worries into prayers, attend a Christmas service, ask someone to pray for you, and I know you can find peace on earth Jesus spoke about. There is peace even in the hard times we live with here. We need Jesus to open our eyes to His peace.

I wanted to share this family photo and best wishes for a Merry Christmas. Pictured are Debi, Brian, Ben (16), Rachel (20) and Aggie (7). From our house to yours we wish you a most joyful Christmas Season and Happy New Year!
